Antipoverty Centre submission to the Committee inquiry into the NDIS “Securing the NDIS for Future Generations” Bill 2026

In June 2026 the Antipoverty centre entered a submission into the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee inquiry into the National Disability Insurance Scheme “Securing the NDIS for Future Generations” Bill. The Antipoverty Centre, alongside Disabled community members strongly opposed recommendations in this bill, of which there is many. For brevity, three main points were focused on in this submission; Ministerial Powers, Access to the scheme and Additional supports tests. You can read the submission in full below.
