Valuing expertise in poverty.

People in poverty are rarely published in mainstream media. The Antipoverty Centre works with unemployed people and others in the welfare system to publish articles on the Power to Persuade social policy blog, and to assist in developing skills to be published in the media.

We ensure that every article we help to publish is paid at a rate comparable to mainstream media outlets and rely on community support to do so. Each dollar you contribute to the writer's fund helps to pay for another article by someone who deserves to be heard.
